esun lw-pla vs colorfabb lw pla vs color fabb lw pla ht

howzit guys, i can easily get esun lw pla, but any colorfabb material is going to come with a hefty price tag, and shipping times. does esun make the cut? or is it shooting myself in the foot going esun and not ColorfABB

Speaking as a relative newbie in 3D printing, it seems like you should get a filament and stick with it. That means doing the prep work of printing out cubes to figure out optimum temperatures for foaming, and then setting the x,y,z compensations for accuracy. Then print your parts. There is much experience and good results on the web with ColorFabb- I have acquired a few rolls of it, but not printed anything with it yet. I started this year with eSun on the 3Daeroventures microSport Cam- did the above, tons of stringing, gaps etc. Then went with BambuLab PLA-Aero for planeprint plane and Troy McMillan C17- Both printed perfectly. Now in the process of trying to collect all the hardware to get that air armada up in the air.

When I print the 747 debating whether to do ColorFab vs BambuLab ASA-Aero- I want a plane that will stand up to alot of heat . I have been cautioned by the good folks at HM3D that ASA-Aero is a handfull, so will probably do a smaller plane (a320) in it first to see how it goes.

Good Luck with your decision!

very slow down loads or non at all

i have no problems downloading files with any of my other airplane files but my HM3D 747 files are horrible, doesn't matter if Bambu , Creality slicers. Both of my slicers are up to date. when i down load file to the slicer it will go to about 20 to 60% and stay there for ever. I then finally give up and end download. Any help out there?
